iBoats Disappointing Experience with Iboats: Delayed Order and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with iboats. I placed an order over a month ago and I still haven't received my product. I've tried calling and emailing them multiple times, but I haven't gotten a response. It's like they don't even care about their customers! And to make matters worse, the tracking number they sent me doesn't even work. What a joke!

At this point, I'm pretty fed up. I've had to dispute the charge with my bank just to try and get my money back. It's a real shame that it had to come to this. I was really hoping to get my product and have a good experience with iboats, but it looks like that's not going to happen.

Luckily, I was able to find another company to order from and they were able to get my shipment to me in less than a week. It's too bad that iboats couldn't do the same. I would definitely recommend avoiding them if you're looking to order anything online. It's just not worth the hassle.

iBoats Disappointing Experience with iBoats.com: Overpriced Strainer Unusable and No Return Policy

I bought a strainer from iBoats.com for my boat in August. One of the mechanics suggested it and it cost me over $250. Unfortunately, due to some delays with other parts, my boat couldn't be hauled out until mid-October. When the boat yard finally got around to looking at the strainer, they determined that it was too large and didn't even use it. I tried to return it by sending an email to iBoats, but I never got a response. So, I had to send some pictures in to them and they are refusing to take it back. It's really frustrating because in this day and age, with all the shipping delays and everything, you would think that they would be a little more understanding. I definitely won't be buying anything from them again.

iBoats Disappointing Experience with iBoats: Confusing Communication, Lost Shipment, and Refund Hassle

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with iBoats. I was in need of some parts for my boat, and I thought I'd give them a shot. They made it seem like they could get me what I needed, but boy was I wrong.

It took them a whopping three weeks to even get back to me, and when they did, I got different answers from different people. Talk about confusing! And to top it all off, my parts supposedly got lost in shipment. Yeah, right.

I had ordered three things, but in the end, they only had two of them. Or so they said. I ended up having to cancel the order altogether and wait for my money to be refunded. What a hassle.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend ordering from these guys. They seem like a bunch of online con artists to me. Save yourself the trouble and just order from China or something. At least then you know what you're getting into.

iBoats Mixed Experience with iBoats: Great Products, Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, I had a bit of a mixed experience with iBoats. On one hand, the folks I talked to on the phone were super nice and seemed to really know their stuff when it came to the products they sell. But on the other hand, I had some serious issues with getting my order sorted out.

I spent what felt like forever on hold, and even when I did get through to someone, they weren't always able to help me out. I was promised follow-ups that never came, and in the end, I had to go elsewhere to get the missing part I needed. It was a real bummer, especially since iBoats has some great prices and a ton of awesome products.

All in all, I'd say that if you're willing to take a bit of a gamble on the customer service side of things, iBoats might be worth checking out. But if you're someone who really values prompt and reliable support, you might want to look elsewhere.

iBoats Disappointing Service from iBoats: Order Not Shipped and No Response to Emails or Calls

So, I was looking for a propeller for my boat and I stumbled upon iBoats (iboats.com). I found an "In Stock" propeller that I liked and I ordered it on 6/2/20. I was happy to receive a confirmation e-mail saying that it would be shipped on 6/4/20 and that it would arrive on 6/11/20. However, my excitement was short-lived when I checked the status on 6/8/20 and saw that it had not shipped yet. I was worried and I sent several e-mails to the company, but none of them were returned. I even tried to call them, but I got a worthless phone tree and no one answered.

It's now 6/14/20, and the item still hasn't shipped, and my e-mails go unanswered. I am very disappointed with the service I have received from iBoats. If I could get a live person, I would cancel the transaction. I am frustrated because I needed the propeller in a timely manner, and it seems like I won't be getting it anytime soon.

I would advise anyone who needs their parts in a timely manner to NOT do business with this company. It's a shame because they have a good selection of products, but their customer service is lacking. I hope they can improve their service in the future, but for now, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

iBoats Poor Customer Service and Communication from iBoats - Beware!

I recently made a purchase on iBoats and while I did receive a confirmation email, I never received a shipping email. I tried calling their customer service line to inquire about the shipping status, but unfortunately they only accept emails for shipping issues. I have now sent two emails and have yet to receive a response. It's frustrating because I have no way to cancel the order and it feels like I'm being held hostage waiting for my package to arrive. I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of communication and customer service is unacceptable. I won't be making any future purchases from iBoats and I plan on reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Hopefully, this review will help others avoid the headache of dealing with this company.

iBoats Disappointing Experience with iBoats: Hidden Fees and Poor Customer Service

I recently made a purchase on iBoats, and unfortunately, my experience was not a positive one. I had bought an item and paid for shipping, but when the delivery date came around, the item was nowhere to be found. I was quite disappointed and decided to call customer service the day after the delivery date to inquire about the situation.

To my surprise, I was informed that I had to pay an additional $268.93 for freight shipping, on top of the shipping I had already paid for. I was taken aback by this news, as the customer service representative I had ordered from should have informed me of this or at least asked me about it. Now, I am left with the decision to either pay the difference or cancel my order altogether.

What's worse is that other companies that were having a sale on the same item are no longer offering it at a discounted price, and the item is now more expensive. I find this to be quite unfair and a poor way to conduct business. I am extremely disappointed with my experience and will not be recommending iBoats to anyone.

Overall, I believe that iBoats needs to improve their customer service and communication with their customers. It's important to be transparent about any additional fees or charges that may arise, especially when it comes to shipping. I hope that they take this feedback into consideration and make the necessary changes to improve their business practices.

iBoats Disappointed with iBoats' Attitude Towards Open Package Product

I recently made a purchase on iBoats for an outboard hydrofoil and I must say that I was quite impressed with the speedy delivery. However, I was a bit disappointed when I received the package as it was not in the new and unopened condition that I was expecting. Instead, it was quite clear that the package had been opened before and then stapled back together. It was obvious that the product had been returned by another customer.

I must say that I was not pleased with iBoats' attitude towards this issue. When I contacted them about the matter, they simply told me that there was nothing they could do unless the product was defective. I found this to be quite frustrating as I had expected a new and unopened product, and not a returned one.

To make matters worse, I am now hesitant to even open the package as I fear that it will be even more difficult to return if I find that the product is not up to my standards. I believe that iBoats should have been more transparent about the condition of the product in their advertising. They should have clearly stated that it was an open package product.

Overall, I must say that I am quite disappointed with my experience with iBoats. I do not think that I will be doing business with them again in the future.

iBoats Poor Customer Service Experience with iBoats: A One Star Review

I recently made a purchase on iBoats for a small part that cost me $11.00. I was charged $15.00 for shipping and my credit card was charged on May 13th. However, when I checked my iBoat account, it showed that I had never placed an order. This was quite confusing for me as I had an invoice and my card statement showing that they had charged my account. I tried to contact them through phone and email, but unfortunately, no one has gotten back to me yet regarding my order.

I must say that the customer service from this business is quite disappointing. It seems like they don't care about their customers at all. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, and I don't think I will be using their services again. I will also be letting all my boating friends know about my experience with iBoats.

It's quite sad that all of this is happening over an $11.00 part. I understand that it may not be a big purchase, but it's still my hard-earned money that I spent on their website. I am quite disappointed with their lack of communication and customer service.

Overall, I am sorry to say that I had to rate them a one star. I don't think they even deserve that rating. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future, or else they might lose more customers like me.

iBoats Bad Experience with iBoats, Try Marine Engine.com Instead!

I had a really bad experience with iBoats (iboats.com). They messed up my order and lied about having the parts I needed. When I asked for a refund, they refused to give me my money back. I had to go to the Florida Attorney General's office to get them to refund my money. It was a huge hassle and I wouldn't recommend using them.

Instead, I would suggest using Marine Engine.com. They are fantastic! They have parts for older motors and they actually have the parts in stock or they will tell you upfront if they don't. The people who work there really know what they are talking about and they even return emails and phone calls on Sundays! I don't work for them, I'm just a satisfied customer.

I have three older boats and I was desperate to find someone who had the parts I needed. I tried using Boats.net, but they were a bunch of losers. They were a god-awful company and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Overall, I would highly recommend using Marine Engine.com instead of iBoats. They are reliable, knowledgeable, and have great customer service. Don't waste your time with iBoats, go with Marine Engine.com instead!

iBoats Shipped incorrect item

I ordered a 6ft bimini top and they sent me a 4 ft. Then told me all the numbers mattch up . They don't even have an option for 4ft on there website. When I asked for a return and swap for the correct one I was told itwould be %25 restocking fee. No way. Then it changed to %15. Still no way. I see alot I f issues with them and I won't use the. Ever again.

Desired outcome: I want my 6ft bi.i I shopped at no extra charge and a free return of the incorrect one shipped.

iBoats Getting the wrong prop and not getting a refund

I ordered a new prop for our boat and they sent the wrong one. I called them and they gave me the runaround and told me to send pictures which I did. A few weeks went by and I called and e- mailed them and finally they told me to send it back for a refund. I paid 20 dollars to send it back and I did not hear anything for another couple of weeks after I called and e- mailed them again. They reported that they were unable to locate it in their warehouse . I sent them the tracking number more than once and I keep sending them e- mails. It has been more than a couple of months getting the run around. I am very disappointed with this place and will never buy another thing from them again. Worst customer service I have ever experienced!

Desired outcome: Return my money

iBoats Purchase of bottom paint

I purchased 2 gallons of bottom paint from iboats. After a couple of weeks it was finally delivered, I reached to understand the delay and was told it took 8 -10 days this was day 14. When the paint arrived the boxes did not look damaged from the outside. I brought boxes into house and opened. Both boxes had damage to paint cans. I picked up one of the gallons and found it was leaking and dripped on floor and rug. I ran to the kitchen to get bag to set paint in and also got paint on dining room table. I had communication with iboats and they agreed to reimburse for paint but said it was my fault paint got on floor and table so that was my problem. This is what I get for dealing with a 2nd tier company I would never had problems with the Defenders and West Marines. Live and learn...

iBoats Returning Useless Boat Prop Almost Impossible

We ordered a replacement propeller from iboats for our outboard ski boat. The propeller we received did not work with our engine. The boat shivered and shimmied as soon as we started the motor. We realized right away that the propeller was wrong for the engine. So we removed the prop, while the boat was still in the water. We put on an old prop instead, and the next day we returned the iboats prop. Iboats refused the return. They sent the propeller back to us, claiming that since the prop had been in the water, it was "used" and therefore unreturnable. But there was no way we could have known it wouldn't work with our engine without putting it in the water. So we called our charge-card company, said we were denying the charge, and sent the prop back to iboats again. Today we found the prop, in its same box, sitting on our porch yet again. So we phoned UPS and they are coming again tomorrow to pick up the prop that nobody wants. We have no intention of ever paying for this prop, since it was wrong from the start. We'll be sending a copy of this message to our charge-card company. We will never again order anything from iboats, because we're having such a tough time getting them to take back a piece of merchandise that simply does not work on our boat. By the way, we have since ordered two other props from another company, and they both work fine.

I ordered a bow stop from iBoat but realized right after I placed the order that it was the wrong size. I immediately tried modifying or canceling the order by calling their customer service and lodging an email and return request with them. Since their customer service was closed at that time of night, I immediately called them first thing in the morning. They said they would put in request to swap the part with the right one and notify me later of what to expect. I received an email from the returns department (person who I contacted the night before) and they said it was too late and the part would still ship. I never received a call back from the customer service person despite multiple attempts to reach the same extension. Interestingly the part did not ship till 6PM, which meant they had a full 16 hours to cancel my order or change it. I followed up and asked if they would give me a discount or offer free shipping to order the right part size now that I had to go through the trouble of returning the old item. Zero response! iBoats has terrible customer service! I have now tried for over 2 weeks with daily calls and emails to get a return authorization with no help at all from this company. Worst company I've ever ordered from on the Internet!

still dont have motor wont return money, I will never deal with this place again! Had to miss 2 days of work on their garuntee it will del today, now Im being told I can drive 110 miles round trip to pick up my motor. Who knew deliverd meant some where in the same state. Wont return money, cant talk to a supervisor. Who knows maybe someday it will show up. lesson learned,

iboats Response- Our Apology-

On behalf of iboats.com, I would like to express our sincere apology to these 3 customers for the poor experience they've received. For 2 of the customers who used the propellers prior to returning them, unfortunately, we do not sell used propellers, even if in the water for merely minutes. For those of you who have received something that even looks used, you can understand why we do not allow used item(s) to be returned. As for now, our site shows still shows our return policy that states, all product(s) must be returned in unused condition. As for propellers, we even go a step further to say, “Once the propeller touches the water, it is considered used and is non-returnable”.

For the 1 customer who hadn’t received credit and it had been over 2 weeks, we apologize for the delay in returning your funds to your account. As you can understand, we must wait for the product to be returned before we can inspect it and issue credit. Once the product arrives back at our Returns Receiving Warehouse, we typically take less than 10 business days to issue credit. I was unable to find your order to check to see when you were issued credit but, those are our general policies for issuing credit.

While the explanation above provides some insight into why the situations ended as they did, we do not in any way excuse ourselves from taking responsibility for the poor experience these customers received. Our goal is to treat every customer as a member of the iboats family and we failed in this regard. Again, we express our apologies to these customers and hope we will get another chance to serve them again in the future.

I ordered wrong part by mistake. Opened box, took out part, saw it was wrong, put it back in box and returned it. Ordered correct part, it's been over 2 weeks and I still don't have it. Right now, I'm down $600, and still don't have my part. Returned the first part over a month ago. Called customer service, stated my case, was told they would inquire about it and call me right back. Since then, there have been no returned calls, and no returned emails. Hands down the worst online shopping experience I have ever been through. I will never buy anything from them and hope these reviews save someone else the aggrevation.

I have the same problem and I ordered the prop iboats said I should order - it is the wrong prop and they still will not let me return it because it was in the water for about two minutes. I have a 1987 Mariner 25hp and their website said that the prop was for a Mariner 1984 and newer. Well a 1987 is newer but it is the wrong prop for a 1987. My credit card company - Barclay (VISA) was no help so I'm stuck.
I'll never again order from iboats.
