Tampa airport location charged us $50/day to take their mandatory insurance even though we have our own auto insurance, which covers us when driving rental cars. Our auto insurance is not one of the ones that Priceless accepts. I've never been forced to take the rental company's insurance with any other agency. The other issue we had is we were being charged more than if we had walked in that day to rent a car, in that scenario, we would have been charged $30/day to take their insurance. So not able to waive their insurance, charged more than if I hadn't booked online and unable to cancel the reservation. Nothing about this feels ethical. I then received an email with a Priceless rental agreement containing someone else's Visa card number. I want a refund for the $250 + $10 tax for the insurance.
