It’s unfortunate that someone is loyal to a brand - consciously choosing Marriott every time, makes a financial commitment to the brand, and the service received makes it not worth it. This property is supposed to be an Autograph Collection property, which as I pointed out at the beginning of my communication, means it’s premier. The Royalton Saint Lucia is far from premier and Marriott should reconsider the designation - considering the disrespectful staff, patched up hotel rooms and inaccessible benefits. I truly wonder if I as a status member had to endure the treatment I did. What type of treatment did guests without status receive? Just the thought is truly concerning.
At this time, I do not see myself returning to this Marriott property and certainly cannot see myself recommending it to anyone.
I sent this information to the GM and the supervisor for “post stay” concerns over a week ago, and I have not gotten so much as an acknowledgment of receipt. That should tell you all you need to know.
