I booked a flight through Expedia. 2mins after realizing the time of an important doctor's appointment I called Expedia to inquire of a later time. The representative repeatedly told me she could not help and what was booked was budget rated. I called back again and the next representative told me should would cancel the flight and send a confirmation email. The next morning there was no email and my account was charged. I called back and ended up connecting with an agent who said there was nothing they could do. Not only was this whole ordeal absolutely absurd. But the Expedia representatives said they would cancel the charge and never did anything close to that. The outsourcing of these corporations is completely nuts. The customer service is beyond poor and there is ZERO empathy that is not scripted. Within LESS than 30 mins they would not fulfill their guarantee. I will never book through Expedia again and recommend others to venture alternative platforms or buy straight from the airlines for future flights.
