I am NOT your HUN, SWEETIE, or DEAR.
Please...can Tim Hortons instruct new and old employees to refrain from addressing their customers with these adjectives. It seems it is widely used with servers and largely towards seniors. Personally find these to be condescending, rude and disrespectful . It is a familiarity reserved for loved ones or family. Try Ma'am, or Sir, or simply nothing. To use those terms with me smacks of ageism.
